On the 18^th November The Year 5 and 6 Athletics team competed in the Greenwich semi-final indoor athletics competition. Both the boy and girl teams did fantastically - finishing in first place!. The children showed great agility, speed and teamwork in winning the overall competition. The victorious athletics team; Ayodeji, Prince, Kofi, Timi, David, Tyrese Harley, Javan, Adaze, Melany, Jessica (6), Joy, Angel, Emma, Jessica (5), Montana.

We now qualify for the Indoor athletics final which will be held on the 19^th January 2016 at St Paul’s Academy. If Discovery go on to win the final they will then represent Greenwich at the London games later on in the year. Congratulations to the children and best of luck in January!
