Last year the Discovery school’s basketball team were extremely successful. They won both of the regional tournaments without losing a game, thanks to their amazing skills and commitment to the game. Roy was outstanding in attack and Rori was our best defender.
As a result of winning the regionals, the children had the privilege of representing Greenwich in the London school games at Crystal Palace. The competition was fierce but the team managed to finish as the fifth best team in London. Amazing!
This year we hope to build on their success and triumph again.
